Before identifying the similarities and differences between the two countries, let's find out what are the two countries all about in depth.



What is Cambodia?
Cambodia is a country in which its location is in Southeast Asia, has a total area of 181,035 square kilometres. In addition, Cambodia is bordered by Gulf Of Thailand on the Western coast, Vietnam (1,228 km) on the east and south, and last but not least bordered by Thailand (803 km) and Laos (541 km) on the North. The total Population of Cambodia currently states at about 14.86 million people. The Capital city of Cambodia is Phnom Penh, with its population of 1,502,725 people and its major cities are the following:
  • Phnom Penh
  • Siem Reap
  • Koh Kong
  • Sihanouk Ville


Cambodia gained full independence on the 9th of November 1953 from France. In addition, Cambodia's monetary unit is 1 riel, its main religion is Buddhism, and last but not least its main language is called "Khmer". Currently, Cambodia has a total of 3 seasons, which is tropical humid climate; Rainy (monsoon), Season (May to November) and last but not least, Dry (December to   April). Cambodia is a well known country for its rich culture and tradition. Their culture and tradition are both in relation to the main religion, Buddhism. Moreover, the tradition and culture that Cambodia kept since they've had it was traditional dances/moves, which includes where Cambodian dancers express movements to convey its polite manner to the tourists, they've also have traditional costumes for instance: "Khmer" clothing, whereas its name represents Cambodia since "Khmer" is the language used in Cambodia
